Czapek created this limited edition model to celebrate the 70th anniversary of our retail partner in Singapore and South-East Asia, Sincere Fine Watches.
Limited to 38 pieces, this iteration of the Antarctique S timekeeper features a distinctive mirrored dial and a case and bracelet crafted from a blend of steel and yellow gold, marking our world première of both a mirrored finish dial and a bimetallic combination in our collections.
For the very first time, the dial is made from a single silicon wafer - a semiconductor better known for its use in microelectronics and photovoltaics. A very thin disc of the crystalline silicon is polished to create a perfectly smooth and shiny surface before a fine PVD coating of platinum is applied, amplifying the reflective qualities of the silicon wafer.
